This one is for Gwen, one of my best friends. She had an accident in PE class and got little cracks in 2 vertebrae. She needs to wear a corset for 12 weeks and will be returning to school end May.
She needs to stay flat on her back and there's nothing much she can do but that. Even with the busy scedule of our endwork now I made time to make this for her, to at least cheer her up a bit. Since she's quite energetic lying still is a hell for her, and with the endwork she can't even help her group, so the teachers will find something for her. Our class mainly blames our teacher and school staff since they didn't do much when the accident happened. When she could breathe regulary again they tried to get her up and take a few steps, who knows it could've been worse. And only after an hour they brought her to the hospital. I just hope she heals and returns soon, as we miss her and the class feels empty without her prescence |
